The short answer

A light mark after you take a patch off is normal and goes away within a few minutes. Peel slowly, start with moisturizer only, and give your skin a night off if it looks pink.

Why marks happen

The patch holds the skin smooth all night, so when it comes off you may see a faint outline where it sat. That’s normal, and it goes away within a few minutes.

How to take it off gently

  • Peel from one corner, low and slow, keeping the patch close to the skin.
  • Support the skin next to the patch with your other hand.
  • Don’t pull it off quickly, especially if your skin is on the dry side.
  • Put it back on its sheet if you plan to wear it again.

If your skin is sensitive

  • Try one patch on a small area first.
  • Wear it over moisturizer only before adding actives underneath.
  • Skip any skin that is broken, sunburned or irritated.
  • If the skin looks pink, give it a night off.
  • Stop using it if irritation doesn’t settle, and check with a dermatologist.

Where not to use it

Toute Nuit is made for the face. It isn’t designed for the neck.
